Oct 31, 2006 - It looks like another big media sale is in the works. This one involves the Chicago-based Tribune Company.
Two investor groups have submitted preliminary, non-binding bids for Tribune according to unnamed sources close to the situation.
A Tribune spokesman declined to comment on the report. The investor groups also declined comment today.
