With all the talk in the Oly pressroom about losing this or losing that with a union contract, reverse your thinking from what we can lose to what we can gain.
Which brings to mind Vincent Normal Peale, he states people tell themselves “I’ll believe it when I see it”, and suggests using “I’ll see it when I believe it” instead.
Instead of thinking about bargaining away our fifth week of vacation, why not restore the fifth week of vacation for everyone with less than twenty-five years of service.
It holds true with the times and dates of the nomination meetings for representatives of the negotiating team, if the days and hours do not fit your schedule, suggest something that does work for you.
