Will the Tribune Sale be Completed?

With Tribune Company stock well below the $34.00 per share buyout price, and credit tightening, makes one wonder if the buyout plan with Sam Zell will be completed. Tomorrow shareholders of record will vote to allow the sale to continue, but where is the FCC in all of this? After almost eight years of legal wrangling, the FCC is unable to decide if the Tribune Company can own television stations, newspapers, and radio stations in the same market.
