LA Cowboy: SMASHBOX Mercedes-Benz Fashion Show Promoters TRASH TALK Downtown Los Angeles!

In an AP story in the GUARDIAN, the promoters of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week attack Downtown Los Angeles as a place people such as Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour simply will not go.

Downtown is also accused of having traffic and parking problems, unlike the Westside which, of course, we all know, has zero parking and traffic problems. They also made it clear that even if they leave Culver City - any place in the City of Los Angeles appears to not be up Mercedes-Benz's standards since if they do expand - it will be to... Beverly Hills.

So the next time any of you in Los Angeles thinks about buying a Mercedes-Benz - you might want to consider what the people running their fashion show think about our city. And don't forget to check out our Los Angeles fashion shows at: http://www.boxeight.com/.

I have noticed that people in West LA never go east of Vermont. And even that's pushing it. You say SilverLake, you might as well be saying Botswana. You say "El Tepeyac," they say, "Oh, yes, I've been to Spain before."

But this is okay. We understand their geographical disability. We are thinking of maybe drawing pink lines like they do in Pasadena, that they can follow down Wilshire into downtown LA. We'll make purple lines leading through East LA, and maybe Chartreuse ones that will take them into Whittier and beyond.
