Wonder why Ronnie and gang didn't hold a union meeting before the contract came out? Couldn't wait to get paid? Funny how those union big wigs respond after you threaten to take away their rice bowl. It's a sweet gig for those guys, no wonder they will do whatever it takes to keep the cash flowing their way. Is anyone asking "what am I getting for my money"? How much is that contract worth anyway? I know it is worth about 250k to the union but what are the rank and file getting for their money?
I have found the meaning of GCC/IBT It means " Giving Constant Concessions/ I've Been Taken. The latest is our 62 people being let go getting less than half the other departments. The union tucked its tail between its legs and gave up all their grievances and all ULPs except for the one they are currently fighting to try and stop a deauthorization vote. The vote is likely to proceed in June. They are stalling but it will not work in the end. Funny how they say signatures were gathered in the pressroom when the union people did exactly that many times over. Smells like hypocrisy to me. The answer to your question Andy is all we have gotten is takeaways since the union took over with nothing in return but a bill for 60 or 48.04 a month.
