Spring Into Love Teen Fest

This Saturday, 3/16....we are in need of volunteers...

The 2nd Supervisorial District in South Los Angeles has the highest rates of chlamydia and gonorrhea, specifically among teens and young adults. Several organizations in the 2nd District are collaborating to host a “Spring into Love” Youth Summit to address these health disparities. This fun event is geared towards high school-aged youth in South Los Angeles, to start the conversation about sexual health.

The event is taking place at The Radisson Midtown Hotel at USC on Saturday, March 16th from 2-7pm. The Youth Summit will include peer-led breakout sessions addressing birth control, sexually transmitted infections, safer sex, healthy relationships, consent, and access to confidential services. The event will also include a skit, photo booth, DJ, food, prizes, and an auction at the end.

We are looking for volunteers to support the event, with shifts any time from 1pm-7pm.
