Colleagues –
Please join me in welcoming Chris Argentieri to the Los Angeles Times. Chris joins us today as Senior Vice President of Business Operations, will report to me and will lead our efforts in budgeting, improving business practices and increasing collaboration across various departments.
Chris brings almost 20 years of experience in the media industry. He was most recently President of The Enthusiast Network (TEN), the country’s largest collection of special-interest media, which includes more than 75 publications, 100 websites, 800 branded products and 50 annual events. Chris had previously been TEN's Chief Operating Officer overseeing technology, consumer marketing, and brand development. Prior to joining TEN, Chris held various operational roles at Hearst Magazines and holds a BS in Accounting from Alfred University in Alfred, N.Y.

Hopefully Chris doesn't ruin the LA Times like he did Source Interlink. Never mind that's going to be impossible with his incompetence as a leader.

Chris helped bring down MOST if not all magazines Source had in place for many years. His "I don't give a F–– about what you think, we don't need you here" attitude and horrible lack of speech abilities.

A few town hall meetings went sour once he was given the mic. His is a waste and L.A. Times staff will find out soon enough.
