Electronic Maintenance Technician Wanted - Advance Central Services Pennsylvania

Our top-quality production team is looking for an experienced Electronic Maintenance Technician. This first shift position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and resolving equipment related issues with associated support systems for our commercial print and packaging facility. Our press is a well maintained and latest vintage Goss Colorliner Press consisting of 8 - 4/4 Towers and 3 Goss 160PG Sovereign Rotary folders.  Candidate must have strong mechanical aptitude along with the ability to read pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical schematics or blueprints, diagnose equipment failures in a deadline driven environment, and troubleshoot PLC controls. Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs a plus.  Experience with conveyor systems, three-phase motor control circuits and a knowledge of AC and DC drives required. This individual will work closely with production managers and production teams to assure highest systems reliability in order to meet our customer needs.  Must be a team contributor and self-motivated.
Other skills include: assemble and/or modify electrical and electronic systems according to engineering data and electrical principles; setup and operate test equipment; provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered, and analyze and interpret test information to resolve failures, upgrade issues and new installations.  Minimum qualifications include: High school diploma or equivalent; Associates degree or trade school degree or equivalent work experience; candidate must demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills along with willingness to work as needed on nights, weekends and holidays to cover staff vacations. During initial training period, candidate would work at night with other electronic tech to learn our systems.
