Boston Herald moving to Braintree

The Boston Herald is moving its offices to the Braintree Executive Park later this year, the company announced in a memo to staff and the paper reported. 

The Herald’s entire staff will be relocated to office building in the Boston suburb. The move is scheduled to be done by mid-December. 

The paper is now located in Boston’s Seaport District.

“This move will provide a great space for our employees in a facility with many amenities including free parking and easy access to public transportation,” said Herald Publisher Kevin Corrado in a memo to staff. “While we are making a physical move that will help sustain our organization in the years to come, our commitment to providing the best news and sports coverage in the Boston market is stronger than ever. We’re excited about the future.”

Digital First Media acquired the paper in in March after a winning bid in a bankruptcy auction.
