He rode his Triumph motorcycle to work and parked it near Rick’s roach-coach. We worked together on and off until I went to the University of Oregon to complete my undergraduate and graduate degrees. <br /> I visited him and several of the other pressmen following completion of my anesthesia residency. We all went to Victoria Station for prime-rib and had a wonderful time. That was the last time I saw Bob. I think of him often as I do all the pressmen I had the honor of working. <br /> I have fond memories of my time at the then “Times/Mirror Newspaper” with Harrison Sparks as the superintendent. I am now retired from anesthesia and my wife is retired from her medical practice.
