Outsourcing to India

Outsourcing — A memo going around the L.A. Times says the paper plans to outsource graphics work to India for a two-month trial, starting with classified ads in the Orange County edition.

  3. I'm sorry to hear that. India has the largest growing middle class in the world, and we've got the fastest shrinking one.

It does make you wonder about all the high school kids who want to become IT's and programmers and such these days. What kind of future do they have? Perhaps we need to bring back the trades: plumbing, construction, etc. etc. They can't outsource these. Besides, I'd love to find a good auto mechanic.
