It's the Little Things that make me Smile

What a pleasant surprise I had when I walked out to the patio today, the Bird of Paradise had bloomed.

This may seem very trivial to some, but it brought a smile to my face.

We could use a few ash trays for the patio, if you have an extra one, please leave on the tables outside of the cafeteria.

Thanks,
Ed

The Bird of Paradise has special meaning for me. . .when I was young I lived with my grandparents and they had several Bird of Paradise plants that would bloom in our yard. There was always a celebration when this happened. To this day, I love them as much as my grandparents did. Please enjoy yours and thanks for the lovely pictures!

Are these the same Birds from the other pictures? If so, you did a great job.

I could use your green thumb at my house! Let me know if you're for hire:-)

Hey Ed, I don't know if you remember but we used to use the green plugs that came on cores of newsprint rolls for ash trays. I believe they come in red know on the newsprint rolls lately.
