Newhall Reggae Splash

Last Saturday Rita and I attended the second annual Newhall Reggae Splash, with one hundred twenty-five music lovers in attendance.

The show was started with a prayer by Rodger Hasper, and then the music began with Jahmark and the Soul Shakers playing first.

Urban Dread followed with a great set of their own music.

Free food and drinks were provided by the Newhall Bicycle Company, and a great time was had by all in attendance.

WOW! I LOVE raeggae!!! Back in 1978 I was fortunate enough to see Bob Marley in concert. He was great! When my children were babies I used to rock them to sleep to Bob Marley. . .it was very calming to them. If you go next year, let me know.

  3. Yes, many of the songs regard the smoking of marijuana. But the words are hard to understand for most of us, so we enjoy the music.
