Former LAT Drivers Lunch

I took a phone call from Jim Robinson today, inviting me to a lunch next Sunday with former Los Angeles Times truck drivers.

Just in case your new to this blog, all Los Angeles Times truck drivers were outsourced, with Ryder Trucking taking over deliveries of the newspaper.

Next weeks lunch will be held at Lucille's in Brea. The restaurant is located off the 57 Freeway at the Imperial offramp.

Naturally I will post photo's of the former Times Employees.

My father was a truck driver for the Los Angeles Times for forty-two years, we were once a family business.

Funny your dad was a truck driver for the LA Times! My late husband's uncle was, too. He lived in Baldwin Park!

Yeh, it's time to feed the former truck drivers.
The current ones were just recently fed their lunch.
Shows you how much the Teamsters helped!
