The Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program provides San Dimas and other Los Angeles County residents a proper and legal way to dispose of unwanted household chemicals and electronic waste that cannot be disposed of in the regular trash. The Household Hazardous Waste and E-Waste Collection Event is a one-day, drive-through collection event where residents can drive to a specific location to drop off their hazardous waste. These events are free and open to the public. No appointment is needed.
The next round-up in the area will be December 16, 2006 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Brackett Field, Fairplex Dr. & W. McKinley Ave. in the City of La Verne.
