Just when I started complaining about the cold weather, I saw these photos of Denver! The roads are socked in and the airport is not expected to re-open until Friday or Saturday. Future Gringo photos of the snow!
Thanks for the link! Having been a Sherman Oaks/Westwide resident a few years back I've always cursed the L.A. traffic, but I'd take it over stuck cars and slushy streets this week :) Wouldn't have minded biking in Manhattan Beach of hiking in the S.M. Mountains this week.
Luckily I have good neighbors and we made the best of it! It's still melting and we're still shoveling, but fortunately Denver has (mostly) fairly mild winters for a cold winter city.
For now, we're opening this blog to Anonymous comments. This will continue as long as civility rules. Disagree as you may, just keep it clean and stay on topic. No profanity, and no name calling. And we're complaining about a little cold weather. Sure happy it doesn't snow here.
