CHICAGO, December 12, 2006 -- Tribune Company (NYSE:TRB) announced that its 2007 annual shareholders meeting will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at Tribune Tower, 435 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, Illinois. It also set March 14, 2007, as the record date for determining shareholders of the company who are entitled to vote at the meeting. The announcement followed Tribune’s regularly scheduled board of directors meeting held earlier today.
