Peninsula Press Club: MediaNews nixes contract in Santa Cruz
The new owner of the Santa Cruz Sentinel, Dean Singleton's MediaNews Group, has told the union representing the paper's 10 press operators that it will not honor its current contract, according to a story in the Sentinel which provided no salary figures
