Anonymous Messages

After debating the pros and cons of allowing anonymous messages on this blog, the time has come to try something new, no anonymous comments will be accepted at this time. You can create a profile, which can be hidden from other users, to leave comments here.

  1. In my opinion, as the owner of the blog, you have the right to limit comments from "anonymous" readers. With a few exceptions, I've noticed that the anonymous comments are often negative and/or personal attacks.

I'm behind you 100%! As Jess said, "Great idea!"

  3. Well Friends,

The debate on the Internet leans towards no anonymous comments, and my favorite blog, LAObserved, allows no comments whatsoever.

The blog will take a big hit in numbers, but we are not running a business and the numbers are not that important.

Ronnie, Russ, Jess, and myself have taken the blunt of negative comments, and it's wearing everyone down.

We can all agree to disagree, lets show one another whom we are, and debate from there.

  4. I love this idea. Put up or shut up. I hate when people hide behind the curtain of the computer monitor and say things that have no value when there is no name behind the comments. Great job ED.

For now, we're opening this blog to Anonymous comments. This will continue as long as civility rules. Disagree as you may, just keep it clean and stay on topic. No profanity, and no name calling. We reserve the right to moderate such comments, though the person who made it may come back and reword their message in a more civil way.
