Billy Roundtree Promoted to Pressroom Supervisor

I am very pleased to report that Billy Roundtree has been promoted to the position of Pressroom Supervisor at the Olympic Facility. Billy brings with him many years of experience operating the printing presses at the old Times Mirror Square Pressroom (renamed Tribune West) and the newer presses at Oly.

For the pressroom employees working on the pressroom floor, this means so much having a supervisor that understands what it takes to prepare and run the presses. We currently only have two other pressroom supervisor’s that have actually ran the printing presses, Woody Johnson and John Hunter, all three supervisors carry a lot of respect with the workers and especially the men and women that operate the printing presses.

It’s unfortunate that Billy will be moving to the third shift, he will be sorely missed on the second shift at Oly.

Bill Delgado was also promoted to Pressroom Supervisor

  1. Hey Ed,
Let's not forget Gene Brame and Owen Brennan, they were also Operators before moving up to the office.
