I'm Still Working at the Newspaper


Thirty-five years ago today yours truly started working at the Los Angeles Times in the long gone Transportation Department. Tomorrow Bob Bagwell will mark sixty years working for the newspaper, so I would be considered a new comer to Bob.

Last week someone left a cartoon from the newspaper referring to bloggers in my mailbox at work, with the claim my blog is all about me me me me me. This might be true.

I wonder if Greg Malcolm will allow me to depart the Olympic Pressroom early tonight in celebration of this special day?
