Union Negotiations at the Los Angeles Times


After reading Ronnie Pineda’s post regarding union negotiations at the Los Angeles Times, appears headway is finally being accomplished between the Tribune Company and the pressroom employees. Take a look at the update to see if my interpretation is correct by clicking here.

    "Since the beginning of our negotiations we have spent a considerable amount of time addressing what we refer to at the table as "housekeeping issues".

    "....we have now moved much closer to negotiating the economics of our contract"

    Doesn't even sound that you've gotten to the hard stuff yet Ed!!
