Waiting for Proposed Contract

Next Monday, December 8th, 2008, the men and women that work in the pressrooms of the Los Angeles Times will review and vote on the proposed contract with the newspaper.

Everyone working in the pressroom has been waiting patiently for a copy of the proposed contract, which has yet to be released. The reason for the delay has not been clarified, which only fuels the rumors spreading within both pressrooms.

We can only hope our union representatives release the contract before next Monday’s meeting?
