Getting Started with Twitter

Here's a quick video describing the easy Twitter sign up process. Hosted by Jen

Twitter is still something new for many online users, which is changing rather quickly as many find the information invaluable. Users are limited to 140 characters or less, so many have become very proficient at getting their point across in very few words.

Click here to get started. Once you have created your account, you can upload a picture of yourself or an avatar, which might display what your interested in or what you might want to look like. A link to your blog or website can also be added with a short bio about yourself.

One your account is setup, you can run a search of what interests you, such as newspapers or pineapples. Once you locate users with similar interests you can add them, and will see their messages only, or you can be brave and select ALL, to see the traffic from around the world
