Save the LA Times California Section

Los Angeles City Council President Eric Garcetti has formed a group on Facebook titled Save the LA Times California Section just two days ago, which has a following of 1,218 members. I would like to thank Mr. Garcetti for his support of the Los Angeles Times, before the hard copy of the newspaper becomes history.

Here’s the description of the group:
Save the California section of the LA Times before it is too late. We need a dedicated section that focuses on the news of the Los Angeles area and the state of California. Cutting the section is the latest blow in cutting the coverage of our community. The California section informs us about political, social, and economic issues of importance at the state and local level.

If you’re currently a member of Facebook join the group and send invites to all your contacts.
