New Blog for Former Tribune Employees

Here at the Los Angeles Times many colleagues form lasting relationships with one another, and get together for brunches and dinners. The Pressmen gather twice a year for dinner with former and current co-workers, former Times truck drivers get together monthly with a big bash at the end of the year, the Times writers mingle together with their club called The Old Farts as well, and former Los Angeles Times composing room employees enjoy lunches together.

Makes sense a former Tribune Company employee created a blog where all Tribune Alumni could meet and exchange ideas, as many people enjoy continued relationships with former colleagues.

Tribune Alumni is still rather new but many have already registered and uploaded photographs of them from across the country.

  1. The South Florida Sun-Sentinel has a new(ish) blog too: Sun-Sentinel Departed. It's mostly about the paper's layoff/buyouts, which the paper rarely reports on.
