Majority of Users won't pay for Social Networking

In last week's unscientific Ed Padgett poll:
87% percent said they would NOT pay for social networking sites such as Twitter, Facebook, and others.
14% said yes.
There has been a rumor on Facebook that they will be charging. A group 1,000,000 facebook users fanned a paged against the charge.

However, Facebook rebutted the charges by coming up with their own page called (and it's long): "Facebook will never charge users and all groups stating otherwise are scams serving other purposes. Find out the facts & the truth!"

They also started a known scam database, which is an updated list of all scam groups and pages listed on Facebook. You can "fan" it here.
