The Gratitude Post: In Tragedy, A Time For Giving (Animal Refuge Kansai)

Dear Pressmen,
I want to thank you for putting out some of the best newspaper stories and photos of the Tohuku-Pacific Earthquake. Also, thank you to photographers world wide for bringing us heartbreaking but unforgettable photos of the crisis in Japan.

In addition, I'm extremely grateful to soldiers from around the world, most especially Japan's Self Defense Forces --many of whom have lost their own homes and family members, but continue to work 24/7 helping make sense of the earthquake tragedy.

So many of us have already give to the REDCROSS by texting 90999. Right now, I'm running information on how to save a household pet in the ravaged areas of Japan. Much like the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, here in the U.S., the Animal Refuge Kansai is accepting donations to help take care of household pets. Please click below for a link to my post telling how you can give a small donation of $12.60 or roughly 1,000 yen.

Thank you for all your hard work.
I hope things get better for everyone.
Best,
Kanani
