*The Blogging Pressman was arrested last November for DUI, in case you wondered why I was riding the Metrolink and buses for ten months. I wonder if Randy will pick up trash as I did for my community service? Have any questions regarding what happens after your arrested for a DUI, feel free to ask me.

Ed. Does all the things you've gone through make you realize maybe, just maybe you should quit drinking.

  4. What, quit drinking? Alas, I have finally listened to family, friends, and colleagues and gave up my drinking career for a taste of sanity and hangover free mornings. The DUI has gotten my attention as the punishment keeps one on his/her toes for a year.

The one misnomer is the cost of the DUI, just under $3,000 as my car insurance rose $31.00 per month for three years, $1,000.00 for the DUI classes for nine months, and the fine of $380.00. The Breathalyzer costs $75.00 per month for five months with an initial instillation fee of $75.00, for a grand total of $2,760.00.

Rudy H. I remember you constantly having to get a ride from other people cause you had no drivers license. You burned many bridges cause you never offered money for the gas.
