I believe this is the best tv show produced in this country in a
generation. More important than the West Wing. It will be buried in
Emmys. Aaron Sorkin is a civic and literary genius and it must be almost
an Olympic sport for actors to master those dense amazing script. And
what a cast - Sam Waterston has never been better. Jane Fonda is an icon
always. And Jeff Daniels - a long beloved figure but at a time when
most of the male stars of his generation have issues or are compromised -
his stock explodes with this. A guy who married his high school
sweetheart in 1979 and still lives in the town they grew up in in
Michigan, who you never hear about in the tabloids because he is mainly
an extraordinary craftsman and not a character with baggage. Thank you
Jeff for being what I presume is you and inspiring me to try to do
