The Maintenance & Cleaning Staff will be responsible for
ensuring the complete cleanliness of CLUB NOKIA including all general
areas, restrooms, backstage areas, decks, entrance ways, stairwells,
elevators, escalators and bar areas.
Functions Include: •
Mopping, emptying trash, replacing trash liners, wipe down areas, sweep,
empty ash cans, clean up spills and fluids, replace light bulbs and
other miscellaneous cleaning and maintenance functions • Follow procedures and daily cleaning routines • Follow direction provided by Maintenance Supervisor • Report damage or areas that need further attention • Keep club clean during events without much undue disruption of guest, patrons, entertainment and other staff • Interact in a professional manner when dealing with other building staff, clients, guests, supervisors and corporate staff.
Requirements: • Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing • Able to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays •
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation
from high school or any other combination of education, training or
experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. • Prior experience in a cleaning environment desired but not required • The employee must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (Please see AEG Human Resources Policies and Procedures) • This is a part-time, non-union, hourly position • Ability to maintain good business relations with all the employees and managers in other departments. • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
