LA Media Reform Summit 2013
What’s the future of the Los Angeles Times and its news coverage as
the paper’s parent company emerges from bankruptcy? Would a buyout by
Rupert Murdoch's News Corp, the Koch Brothers or local investors
strengthen the paper or improve its community service? And if the Times
continues its decline or shuts down, how will Angelenos get their local
news?
California Common Cause, the LA Media Reform Group,
Occidental College's Urban and Environmental Policy Institute, the LA
Progressive and MoveOn LA invite you to learn about this issue and how
to create your own impact media.

ReplyDeleteYes, the Times will change, it HAS to!
I completely agree with you that the Los Angeles Times has to change. With the majority of readers of the hard copy forty plus years in age, the Times and other newspaper publications need to connect with our youth to make them hunger to open the newspaper daily.
