I had a great experience working as an inspector for the election yesterday, but a tiring one at that. My day began at 4:45 AM yesterday and ended at 9:30 PM last night, and learned much about our voting process. The firemen of Station 64 were just the best hosts you could ask for, made many pots of coffee for us in between answering help calls throughout the day. Did you know you can vote from the curb while in your vehicle? I mentioned this to the handicapped voters for the next election in two years. And the blue machine is used for audio voting, yet no one opted to employee the machine. I will be back for the next election as it was a very rewarding experience.
