Stamp Out Hunger 2015 a Success

Last Saturday the volunteers from Sowing Seeds For Life moved 32,800 pounds of food that was donated by the residents of La Verne and Claremont. The mail carriers arrived with their trucks jammed packed with bags of food that were left at mail boxes around the country.

Our friends at Shepherd's Pantry in Glendora moved 22,000 pounds of food, and everyone involved is feeling the affects of moving so much food, with sore muscles.

A big thank you to the postal workers that were so helpful, and all the volunteers that made this a success.
