Paddock Publications acquiring Pana News: The weeklies are the Pana News-Palladium, the Golden Prairie News in Assumption and the Free Press-Progress in Nokomis, which incorporates the Morrisonville Times. Paddock owns weekly newspapers in neighboring Farmersville, Girard, Palmyra and Virden.
