In March, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch has made changes to its website, including tightening its paywall so readers have to subscribe to get content after viewing a number of stories.
Those changes, along with fewer pop-up ads, videos and surveys, came online March 20, according to St. Louis alternative weekly The Riverfront Times.
The paper is also blocking ad blockers, The Riverfront Times reports. As of March 8, "those who have an ad blocker in use can continue to read by allowing ads on STLtoday.com, logging in as a subscriber or starting a subscription."
Iowa-based Lee Enterprises owns the Post-Dispatch.
