Philippines Typhoon Mangkhut

Typhoon Mangkhut made landfall over northern Luzon as it veered north, sparing central Luzon from the destruction of the mighty winds and heavy rain. Unfortunately the mining town of Itogon did not fare well as a massive landslide engulfed, what the miners assumed to be a sanctuary, and was swept away by a mud and rock slide. Three miners have been rescued from the debris, with many still missing and presumed dead. The death toll could be over one hundred, as many are still missing. The photos below are from several friends.
