Fergus Falls Daily Journal drops Monday print


The Fergus Falls Daily Journal (Minnesota) is altering its print schedule, dropping its Monday print and going to Tuesday through Saturday. The paper will still be delivered by the U.S. Postal Service. The subscription price of the paper won’t change, the paper said.
The paper cited rising newsprint costs as a major factor in the move.
“It’s a decision we have been examining for months,” Publisher Mitzi Moe said. “It will help us focus on growing the other editions during the week and it is something other community newspapers are doing. For us it just makes sense.”
