Reports of layoffs at Dallas Morning News

Employees at the Dallas Morning News tweeted Jan. 7 that they got wind of layoffs at the biggest paper in Texas, KXAN TV reported
"The newsroom just got news that the Dallas Morning News is laying off 40 people amidst a ‘restructuring,’" producer Dom DiFurio wrote. "We're told about half of those will be from the newsroom."
There was no official word from A.H. Belo Corporation, owner of the paper, previous to the tweets.
