LNP goes with NewsXtreme for print


Software developer Presteligence has announced that LNP (Lancaster, Pennsylvania) has bought NewsXtreme Prepress Production Workflow Solutions to manage its print production.
“With its complete automation in page pairing and imposition, NewsXtreme takes the manual labor out of production and provides assurance that plates image correctly by soft proofing and approving the individual separations and/or composite files,” says a relase from Presteligence.
The system was sold through the partnership between Southern Lithoplate and Presteligence.
LNP Media Group is the cornerstone of Lancaster-based Steinman Communications. The company’s flagship is LNP/LancasterOnline, Lancaster County’s daily paper. The company also produces several weekly newspapers, Lancaster Farming, and Caucus, a watchdog publication focusing on state government.
