Mid-America Newspaper Conferences ending

The board of the Mid-America Newspaper Conference has announced an end to the conferences.
The 58th annual conference took place in September 2018, in Osage Beach, Missouri.
“Declining delegate attendance and vendor participation pushed the board to move in this direction,” said a statement from the board.
The Mid-America Newspaper Conference was one of the industry's oldest newspaper production workers conferences. It covered pre-press, press, and post-press operations. It began in Kansas City and moved to Branson, Missouri. In recent years it was held at Lake of the Ozarks in central Missouri
The board is thankful for vendor support and delegate attendance for 58 years, the statement said.
