Mariner Newspapers relocates

The Mariner Newspapers, part of GateHouse Media New England, has relocated to a new spot in Norwell (Massachusetts), the Norwell Mariner reported.

The new office is at 600 Cordwainer Drive in Norwell. It is in a facility owned by an affiliate of Rader Properties, the paper said. GateHouse Media has a five-year lease for around 5,000 square feet, the paper said. “While we are excited to be moving into a more suitable and modern office space, this move is definitely a wave of emotions for myself and many of our current and past employees,” said Mark Olivieri, publisher and vice president of multimedia sales for GateHouse New England.

GateHouse Media shuttered its downtown Hingham office in fall 2018, relocating employees from The Hingham Journal and Cohasset Mariner to the Marshfield spot at 165 Enterprise Drive

Those workers, along with the editorial and advertising employees for the Marshfield Mariner, Norwell Mariner, Hanover Mariner, Scituate Mariner, Abington Mariner, Braintree Forum, Weymouth News, Rockland Mariner and Pembroke Mariner & Express, will now be stationed in the new Norwell spot, the paper said.
