The Salisbury Post (North Carolina )
will print its paper through a partnership with BH Media Group’s facility in Winston-Salem starting
April 30, according to the paper.
“This
change positions us to focus our time and resources on our core mission of
reporting local news and providing essential marketing services for local
businesses,” Post Publisher Greg Anderson told the paper. “It removes the
capital-intensive burden of operating our own production equipment,” Anderson said. “Because
of the age of the equipment, upcoming repairs and maintenance would be costly
and inefficient.”
Eleven
workers affected by the move will be able to interview for jobs at the Winston-Salem site, the
paper said.
