Adams buys Wisconsin paper

Adams Publishing Group has bought The Greater Beloit Publishing Company (Wisconsin), owner of the Beloit Daily News, Weekend Daily News and My Stateline Shopper, the Daily News reported.
Minneapolis-based APG bought the publications from Idaho-based Hagadone Newspapers.
In the sale are the Stateline Business Journal and Beloit Publishing Company’s Midwest digital business, the paper reported.
Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
Adams Publishing Group owns 30 daily papers and more than 100 weeklies in 20 states. The Adams family runs a wine distribution business, radio stations, outdoor advertising, Gander Outdoors, Camping World and Good Sam Club, the paper says.
Hagadone has 14 daily and weeklies in Washington, Idaho and Montana. Hagadone owns a number of business journals and niche publications as well, the paper said.
