imPRESSions buys equipment from Washington state operation

The Chronicle in Centralia, Washington, announced in May that it was shutting down its printing division and moving its printing needs to the Sound Publishing plant in Everett. imPRESSions Worldwide has made an agreement to buy the retiring press equipment and manage the liquidation of other items in the operation’s inventory, according to imPRESSions.
Since then imPRESSions has found buyers for a major part of the assets, including a 16-unit DGM 430 web press, Muller stitchers, an inkjet labeler, cutters and heat sealers. imPRESSions has been working to sell the remaining items by an end of October deadline. imPRESSions is on track to have the project completed before the deadline, the company says.
imPRESSions Worldwide offers an inventory of second-hand single-wide newspaper and commercial presses and auxiliary equipment. imPRESSions is headquartered in Burlington, Washington, and also has a facility in Tupelo, Mississippi.
