From Emmett Jaime:
Paul Ernest Morin Obituary
I received this email from Sara Morin
informing me of Pauls passing. Paul started his career at the downtown press-room , he was one of the first supervisors to transfer to the Valley at the
startup.
Paul was a gentleman and he treated everybody equally, he took one of
the first buyouts the Times offered and after some years moved to Colorado to be close to
family. I for one will miss Paul, may he rest in Peace.
Condolences
can be sent to the following address, I’m sure they would appreciate it

From Paul's Wife Sara:
Dear
Jaime:
It is with much sadness that I
have to report the death of my beloved husband, Paul E. Morin who passed
away in the early hours Saturday, Jan.18,2020 of a heart attack. Paul was
an employee of the LA TIMES for 40 years and had many fond memories of his time
spent there.
He is to be cremated and will be
interred at the PIKES PEAK NATIONAL CEMETERY
in Colorado Springs .
Time and date is yet to be determined. He was a retired Army Colonel, after
spending 20 years in the service of his country. Jaime: if you will send
me your mailing address, I would like to send you a copy of an article our
local newspaper did on WORLD WAR 2 veterans here in Colorado Springs . I think you will find
it very interesting.
Thank you,
Sara Morin (wife of Paul E.
Morin)
