Lee offers grants to local businesses

Lee Enterprises has launched a local marketing grant program that offers matching marketing funds to businesses impacted by the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus.
Lee Vice President of Local Advertising Joe Battistoni said the program will be available to locally owned and operated businesses impacted by COVID-19 and will provide matching advertising credits for use in Lee print and digital publications.
Grants will range from $250 to $15,000 of matching advertising credits each month, according to Battistoni, and will be awarded in April, May and June.
Lee has 75 dailies and a joint interest in two other papers as well as growing digital products and nearly 350 specialty publications in 26 states, the company says.
