Wick launches grant program, makes changes to Arizona paper

Wick Communications, a family-owned company based in Sierra Vista, Arizona, has established a community grant program to help locally owned businesses during the COVID-19 crisis.
The company will provide up to $500,000 of matching ad dollars across the markets it serves. Grant funds must be used toward print or digital advertising in a local Wick Communications publication.
Wick publishes newspapers in Arizona, Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Louisiana, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota and Washington.
In other Wick news, the company’s San Pedro Valley News-Sun (Benson, Arizona) will become part of a Herald/Review (Sierra Vista, Arizona) county publication. June 3 is the planned launch for the Herald/Review county edition. The News-Sun will be suspended as an independent publication, but Benson and St. David will still have a dedicated reporter, the paper says.
