Thirty-oneHonolulu Star-Advertiser workers have been told
they will be laid off at the end of June, KITV reported.
The
Star-Advertiser is Hawaii ’s
biggest paper.
The Pacific
Media Workers Guild said the layoffs involve almost half the paper’s newsroom,
Hawaii News Now reported.
The paper
is managed by Oahu Publications, a subsidiary of Black Press.
