Press Operator Wanted

 

Wenatchee World / Washington Media LLC is looking for a Press Operator to join our print production team. Our growing operation produces superior quality printing running a KBA Comet Press in a facility that includes binding, packaging and mailing services for our newspaper publications and for our commercial printing customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Prepare paper for press run, operate fork lift, unload paper trucks, web press, install plates, run tension controls, adjust inks to proper ink density, register full color, maintain press, set rollers, install blankets, lubricate and clean press.

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have proven mechanical aptitude. Knowledge of the printing process and presses.

Mechanical and electrical system aptitude. Develop your skills in producing full color offset printing, producing superior results with close registration and good color balance as you work with our experienced team.

LOCATION:  Wenatchee is a beautiful small city at the foot of the Cascade Mountains in the center of Washington State. The Columbia River flows through the region. Known as the Apple Capital of the World, Wenatchee is near many outdoor recreation opportunities.

This is a full-time position with a package of pay and benefits, including medical, vision, dental, and a 401(k).
